On , a Bell 206L-1 helicopter operated by Canadian Helicopters Limited (doing business as Acasta HeliFlight Inc.), was conducting a flight from Hope Bay Aerodrome (CHB3), Nunavut to a drill camp located 8 nautical miles south-southwest of the aerodrome. Upon landing, the helicopter rolled over. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, shut down the engine and exited the helicopter uninjured. A person on the ground was fatally injured.
On at 1500 Eastern Daylight Time, a privately registered Mooney M20J aircraft with one pilot and one passenger on board landed on Runway 30 at Sundridge South River Airport in Ontario. During the landing, the aircraft bounced several times, and a go-around was conducted. The aircraft then crashed into the forest, approximately 1300 feet from the departure end of the runway. Both occupants were fatally injured, and the aircraft was destroyed.

While conducting a missed approach on Runway 29, the aircraft deviated from its intended path on the ground and went off the side of the runway. One of the passengers sustained minor injuries and the aircraft sustained substantial damage.
