The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will be deploying two investigators to Red Lake, Ontario, to investigate an accident involving a De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver aircraft, operated by Canadian Fly-In Fishing (Red Lake) Limited, that occurred earlier today. The TSB will be gathering information and assessing the occurrence.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline, and rail transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
