Investigation report: June 2020 mid-air collision between two small aircraft in Constance Bay, Ontario

Richmond Hill, Ontario, 18 November 2020 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A20O0053) into the 14 June 2020 mid-air collision between a Cessna 172M aircraft and a Champion 7GCB aircraft on floats in Constance Bay, Ontario.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
