Disclosure of travel and hospitality expenses

This section of the website provides information on the travel and hospitality expenses incurred by the Chair, Board members, and senior-level employees of the TSB. It is updated monthly.

As of fiscal year 2019 to 2020, the information is held in open.canada.ca

The rules and principles governing travel are outlined in the Treasury Board's Travel Directive, the purpose of which is to provide for the reimbursement of reasonable expenses necessarily incurred during travel on government business.

The rules and principles governing hospitality are set out in the Treasury Board's Directive on Travel, Hospitality, Conference and Event Expenditures; its objective is to ensure that hospitality is extended in an economical and affordable way when it facilitates government business or is considered desirable as a matter of courtesy and protocol.

Information that would normally be withheld under the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act does not appear on this website.
