Disclosure of internal audits

On April 1, 2001, the Prime Minister announced a Policy on Internal Audit. The policy objective is to provide departmental management with objective assessments about the design and operation of management practices, control systems and information in keeping with modern comptrollership principles and thereby contributing to the government's continuous management improvement program and accountability for results.

For each internal audit completed, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) therefore publishes the audit report and the related management response on its website.
