Investigation report: July 2020 loss of control and collision with terrain of a helicopter in Thorburn Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, 11 March 2021 - Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A20A0027) into the July 2020 loss of control and collision with terrain of a Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter in Thorburn Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
