Richmond, British Columbia, 12 July 2018 – Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A18P0042) on the March 2018 in-flight emergency due to smoke in cockpit and cabin involving a Westjet Encore Ltd. Bombardier DHC-8 aircraft at Nanaimo Airport, British Columbia.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
